Voltaren Injection 20-30mg/5ml contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), diclofenac. Diclofenac blocks the action of prostaglandins which cause pain, inflammation and swelling. NSAIDs relieve pain and swelling by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, which is important for maintaining tissue integrity. Therefore, Voltaren Injection 20-30mg/5ml contains the same active ingredient as Voltaren® Injection.
The dose of Voltaren Injection should be taken as directed by your doctor. Follow your doctor’s prescription or as instructed by your doctor on the dosing sheet. Read the information leaflet that comes with the medication to find the proper dose. Voltaren Injection 20-30mg/5ml is usually taken once a day at the same time each day. Do not take this medicine more often than directed. In case of missed doses, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If you are not sure, you may take it at other times of the day. To make up for an incorrect dose, repeat the exact schedule that was missed. Do not take 2 doses at once. It takes time for the medicine to start working and to be effective. Continue to take the medicine for the full day of the week. Do not take more medicine at once than your doctor tells you to. Swallow the medicine whole, without breaking or chewing.
If you are taking this medicine, do not take it again. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose.
In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Center or emergency room at once if you are experiencing pain in arms, legs, back, or inner thigh that does not go away. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. Call your doctor at once if you think you have taken too much of this medicine. Also, call your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you have any other medical conditions. Symptoms of an overdose of Voltaren Injection may include severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

Is Voltaren a painkiller or anti-inflammatory?The Voltaren gel and tablets deliver diclofenac sodium, which is a nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) which can help get through your skin to the root of your pain and inflammation. It is both a painkiller and anti inflammatory drug that can provide pain relief.
What is Voltaren best for? This depends on the type of Voltaren product you've chosen to best meet your needs. The diclofenac sodium is in the Voltaren gel and tablets, which means you can get fast and effective pain relief.
The topical diclofenac gel found in Voltaren allows you to gently rub the gel into the affected areas, providing significant pain relief. Topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (or topical NSAIDS) allow you to directly apply the gel to the affected pain area.
This means that it can be best used to temporarily relieve arthritis pain, muscle pain and more. The diclofenac sodium is also found in Voltaren tablets, which means it is an oral NSAIDS, and is one of the most commonly used treatments for pain relief and inflammation.
However, they may not be suitable for everyone, so it's important to read the label, check the package leaflet and speak to your doctor or Pharmacist before introducing Voltaren into your daily pain management routine.
Can I use Voltaren while pregnant? As Voltaren contains the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac sodium, it's recommended that you don't use topical NSAIDS or oral NSAIDs while pregnant as it can impact your unborn baby.
What are some side effects of Voltaren? The side effects of Voltaren can include stomach pain, headache, dizziness, chest pain, kidney disease, and more.
The main ingredient in Voltaren gel is diclofenac sodium. If you've never encountered this ingredient before, you could have a severe allergic reaction to this product.
Signs of an allergic reaction include having trouble breathing or severe dizziness, and you should immediately get medical attention.
It's recommended that you speak to your doctor or Pharmacist before introducing anti-inflammatory drugs to your pain management routine.
You can ask them any questions you have on Voltaren at www. Voltaren.comCan I use Voltaren with other medications? Some medications you may be taking while using Voltaren include blood thinning medications such as anticoagulants, diuretics, antibiotics and other drugs that increase the size of the blood vessels.
This is because Voltaren contains substances that create the necessary amounts of urine and fluids to circulate in your body. This, in turn, increases your risk of heart attack and can lead to a stroke.
If you're not sure if you are taking any medications while using Voltaren, talk to your doctor or Pharmacist.
Certain drugs that increase the size of the blood vessels can cause your joints to swell, which can cause symptoms such as pain, stiffness, inflammation and rupture. This is known as "swelling of the ankles and legs" and "dysosthma" known as "joint swelling."
If you are taking any medications that increase the size of the blood vessels, it is important that they do not cause your asthma symptoms.
You may need to reduce your doses of medications such as asthma medicines to see if Voltaren can worsen your asthma symptoms.
Drugs such as ketoconazole or itraconazole can cause swelling of the ankles and legs which can lead to symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, inflammation and rupture. These symptoms are both fungal infections of the joints in your legs which can cause pain and swelling.
If you are taking any of these medications, it is recommended that they do not cause your asthma symptoms.
If you are taking any of these drugs, it is important that you do not apply Voltaren to your eyes or mouth. This could increase the risk of skin reactions including hives.
If you are not sure whether you are taking any medications, speaking to your doctor or Pharmacist can help you.
